INDIVIDUALITY AND SOCIAL INTERESTS IN AHMAD FUADI'S 'ANAK RANTAU': AN INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGICAL CRITICISM

This study aims to know and analyze the theory of individuality social interest based on Alfred Adler's perspective main character in novel Anak Rantau written by Ahmad Fuadi. The approach question is related personality psychology character, which known from storyline. method used this research descriptive-qualitative literature review. result that reflects theoretical principles their attitudes, behavior, decisions, speech acts. can be seen awareness his past characteristics are not easily afraid, efforts compensate for inferiority. Meanwhile, interests develop line with long process village community.
